We had a visitor to the van in Saint-Laurent this morning. Heartbreakingly like Lulu. Luckily we had some (very old) cat treats on board. Nell was huffed.

We went to a wolf park today. I was without my long lens (tale to tell later). It wasn't great but not awful either and we both felt it a better environment than the Highland Wildlife Park. Didn't stay for feeding time so got only distant shots via fences mostly. Had a quite good Croque at Human feeding time.

St Pardoux is every little bijou inch the quiet little French village of our imagination. It would have been perfect, had not the Boulanger been on his congés.

Lunch today was snaffled from the only open premises in the sleepiest town square ever. Croque from a tiny boulangerie eaten on a nearby bench. The best Croque so far and the cheapest by a long way at €2,80 – especially considering both decks contained ham!
