Ony one camp site that we have stayed on to date lacks flood precautions/escape instructions. It seems that camping is not camping unless it happens close to water. The floods here can be impressive – we walked past a house yesterday that had the levels in 1910 marked and it was way above Mr Snail's head. We were well away from the river at that point too.
