There has been a drop in the temperature today, of the order of 10 degrees (C), so that made walking out to the supermarket a lot easier.

We were in search of some Accras de Morue, to add to the Prawns that we are planning to eat this evening.

Whilst we were there:

* Enjoyed watching one of the new-in-France bottle recycling machines. They are different to the German and Dutch examples – they shred in front of your eyes, and are not as generous in their payback (recycle 5 small water bottles, for 0€,05.)

Mesmerising

* Availed ourselves of the in-house Pâtisserie. Citron pour moi, Fraise pour lui.

They do help me with my French

* Purchased a couple of recipe magazines for lazy afternoon reading

Writing this outside, using the Jetpack app on my phone, just to prove that we remain alive – speaking of which, I hope to get the lappy out tonight and write a few posts, now that things are cooler. One of those posts ties back to this item here…

When I have finished this rather good example of a Tarte Citron, we are going to see what comes next, between here and base. Can’t go back before the 17th, and judging by recent rain, we might find parking difficult at this time.

We would love to hear from you, please leave a reply
