A gorgeous day in St Emilion. Had a good stroll around with camera, marvelling at the sheer volume of wine vendors. Sadly the Aire not up to scratch so we moved on. The campsite we went to motion to it either so we ended up in Capian, nowhere ville.

   1. Having just come from a FP site, we had a van full of wine and no room for more (Vincent does not offer much storage space, alas). The Driver did not wish to visit a FP site and leave without purchase, so we elected to go to the aire, which was rubbish. So we moved our itinerary forward by a day and went to the campsite, which was rubbish. The aire at Capian was fair enough and the pizza wasn’t bad, so all worked out well in the end.

      We are drinking our way through supplies and happily will soon be ready for another vineyard visit
