We have yet to meet a cheese from the Azores that we failed to immediately embrace. This flavoured cheese is no exception.

Not a hard cheese, nor quite an Amanteigado, it’s firm-but-squidgy. A pleasing texture. Mildly garlicky.

Good in a salad.

It didn’t pair well with the sub-standard port that we had on board. Probably requires a good Ruby.
