There is much to post from Sallertaine and now I find myself well behind… on our second night at Rouans, and ready to depart tomorrow.

I may put all of this aside until we return to base at the weekend.
Tomorrow we go to the coast, and I am looking forward to that. The coast? In August? Are we mad? Maybe not so much. I found an almost empty aire the other day and we liked the look of it. On investigation, it turned out that there is a Michelin-recommended restaurant in town. We are booked…
It’s an un-serviced aire, a bit wild and woolly, close to beaches (both Naturist and not.) Around 2.5 Km out of town and should be very calm and peaceful. It is very under-occupied by comparison to nearby aires, which are either full, or close to it.
Looking forward to it. Not looking forward quite so much to the walk into town for dinner, with high temperatures forecast.
We hope to stay for two nights and will then head back to base, due to a parcel delivery issue.
